The 34 years old Nazarov, with a personal record of 80,71 m, is a double Asian champion. Here´s an interesting fact: he is the president of the Tajikistan Athletic Federation! This year, he has been ranked the second best in the world after the Polish Fajdek and threw 78,82 m at the Golden Spike in Ostrava.

P – T – S organizers have prepared a top opponent for Slovak record holder in the 800 m, Jozef Repčík. In the x-bionic® sphere sport complex in Šamorín, he will be running against Nicholas Kipkoech, the current leader of world rankings, who ran 800 m in the time 1:43,37 in Nairobi. The 23 year old Kipkoech won a bronze medal at the 2009 World Championship under 17 years.

Two of the fastest Slovak runners, Alexandra Bezáková and Lenka Kršáková, will run 100 m at the P-T-S meeting not only against the already announced American runner Anderson, but also against Olesia Povchová, European Hall Champion of 2011 in the 60 m and European Vice-Champion in the 100 m. Osobák achieved 11,08 at 100 m and was a member of successful Ukrainian relays in the 4 x 100 m at a number of top events (gold at the European Championship, bronze at the World Championship and the Olympic Games in 2012).

The main program of the 51st year of P – T – S includes 16 disciplines (men: 100 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 400 m fences, height , triple jump, hammer throw, spear, 3000 m walk, 4 x 100 m, women: 100 m, 800 m, distance, hammer throw, 4 x 100 m, 4 x 400 m). The event is a chance for top Slovak athletes to qualify for the European Championship in Amsterdam in July and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August. The three-hours-long program with free entry will start at 16:00.

The program in x-bionic® sphere in Šamorín will start on 4th June at 10:00 in the morning with various activities for the little ones as a celebration of International Children´s Day, including the successful project Children´s Athletics. An exhibition and a commemoration of the previous 50 years of the meeting will also be part of the program and will be prepared by the Slovak Olympic and Sports Museum.

The Public run – PTS Run of 4,5 km for all will start at 14:00. Only people who are 15 or older can take part. The maximum number of runners is 1000 so it´s important to apply early.
