New swimming club in AQUA ARENA

THREE POOLS by ELEMENTS RESORT. That is the name of the new swimming club, which was created by and operates in AQUA ARENA. Its goal is to support sports and physical activity with a racing or recreational character. The swimming club THREE POOLS by ELEMENTS RESORT specializes in swimming for kids as well as adults. 

Another goal is to organize and support swimming events, races or training camps. This also creates a representation of ELEMENTS RESORT in aquatic sports. All of the employees of the swimming club concentrate on the growth and development of aquatic sports awareness and education, with a focus on improving swimming skills, health, physical condition and accepting the principles of fair play. The participating swimmer are taken care of by a team of professionals composed of:

  • 1990–1994: Faculty of physical education and sports UK Bratislava, bachelor's degree, specialization in swimming 
  • 1995-2001: Pedagogical faculty UK Bratislava, master's degree – somatopedia, psychopedia and physical education, sports education
  • 2005: Metro English College, Sydney (Austrália), language studies
  • 2006: Bridge Business College, Sydney (Austrália), international travel and tourism (certificate III)
  • 2007: Autswim The Australian council for the coaching of swimming and water safety,  Sydney (Austrália)

During his stay in Australia, he returned back to competitive swimming in the category of 'ocean swim', which enjoys a high popularity in Australia and the US. Annually, he took part in around 15 competitions in the area of Sydney and 2 on the islands of Fiji. 

He obtained his coaching experience in various positions, including sports with mentally and physically disabled: 

  • 1994-1995: Head coach of the national Swedish representation of the mentally and physically disabled, Stockholm (Sweden)
  • 1997-1999: Head coach of the national Japanese representation of the mentally and physically disabled, Project  manager for “Psychological aspects of the physically and mentally disabled swimmers and their use in every day life," Yokohama and Tokyo (Japan) 
  • 2000: Marketing assistant in the National Paralympic Committee of Austria, Vienna (Austria)
  • 1994-2004: Marketing manager and national swimming coach of the Slovak Paralympics team  (Paralympic games: Sydney 2000, Athens 2004), Bratislava
  • 2005-2007: Main swim coach in Cook&Phillip Park Aquatic Center, Sydney (Australia)

Chairman of the Bratislava swimming committee since 2008.
